Podiatrists are highly trained physicians, mastering their specialty through years of schooling and hands-on learning. They complete a bachelor's degree and four years of medical school to earn a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine (DPM), followed by three years of surgical or clinical residency and an additional one or two year fellowship. Board certification is earned after three years of practice and the satisfactory completion of oral and written exams.
Being fully certified doesn’t mean podiatrists stop learning. Physicians must stay informed about the latest developments in their field. Considering this hard-earned experience and medical knowledge, you can have confidence in our team of podiatrists.
