Corwyn B. Bergsma
Dr. Bergsma grew up on the lakeshore of West Michigan as the son of a local physician. He was drawn to podiatry as a young athlete that experienced the benefit of podiatric treatment for sports related injuries. Upon completing his surgical residency in 2004, he returned to Michigan to join Foot and Ankle Specialists.
In addition to offering full podiatric services, Dr. Bergsma is often contacted to treat patients with sports injuries and provides preventative care for competitive athletes. He has also had the opportunity to join other Muskegon physicians and the University of Michigan to offer free medical and surgical treatment to a young boy from Lebanon.
Dr. Bergsma is the former president of the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association Western Division. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and board certified in both reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, along with reconstructive foot surgery.
