Dr. Corwyn Bergsma Dr. Bergsma grew up on the lakeshore of West Michigan as the son of a local Physician. He was drawn to podiatry as a young athlete that experienced the benefit of podiatric treatment for sports related injuries. Upon completing his surgical residency in 2004, he returned to Michigan to join Foot & Ankle Specialists of West Michigan. Along with offering full podiatric services he is often contacted to treat patients with sports injuries and assist in properly preparing an athlete for competition to avoid injury. Dr. Bergsma has had the opportunity to join with other Muskegon Physicians and the University of Michigan to offer free medical and surgical treatment to a young boy from Lebanon. Dr. Bergsma is currently the President of the Western Division of the Michigan Podiatric Association. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is Board Certified in both Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery along with Reconstructive Foot Surgery.
