Dr. William Decker Growing up in Grand Rapids, Dr. William Decker observed his father, Dr. Robert Decker, in his podiatric office. Early on, Dr. Decker realized the reward his father obtained from offering his patients podiatric medical services. He completed his podiatric surgical residency in 1981 and joined his father to work with him until Dr. Robert Decker retired and Dr. William Decker continued the practice. In 1999 Dr. Decker joined Dr. David and Dr. Rozelle to form Foot & Ankle Specialists of West Michigan. Dr. Decker has worked with the Heal the Children Program to perform free surgical correction of foot deformities for children from third-world countries. He is currently the Chairman of the Clinical Section of Podiatry at St. Mary's Mercy Medical Center. Dr. Decker has advanced training in treatment of lower extremity wounds. He treats patients with complex non-healing wounds at the St. Mary's Wound Clinic. Dr. Decker also offers appointments at our northwest Grand Rapids office. Dr. Decker is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor with Michigan State University.
