Dr. Michael David
A Grand Rapids native, Dr. Michael David gained his interest in sports medicine from a lifelong love of all sports. In practice since 1985, in 1999 he merged his practice with the private practices of Drs. Rozelle and Decker to form Foot & Ankle Specialists of West Michigan. Dr. David enjoys all aspects of podiatric medicine, along with the challenges of complex foot and ankle conditions. He has advanced training in the Ponseti clubfoot treatment, which offers a non-surgical treatment option for young children with clubfoot. He is the only physician in West Michigan that has studied this treatment directly under Dr. Ponseti and attained certification in the procedure. News of Dr. David's treatments and success have been published in the Grand Rapids Press and other local media.

Dr. William Decker
Growing up in Grand Rapids, Dr. William Decker observed his father, Dr. Robert Decker, in his podiatric office. Early on, Dr. Decker realized the reward his father attained from offering his patients treatment for their foot problems. Upon completion of his podiatric surgical residency in 1981, he joined his father in practice. In 1999, Dr. Decker joined Drs. David and Rozelle to form Foot & Ankle Specialists of West Michigan. He has since offered his services to children involved in The Healing the Children program. Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Clinical Section of Podiatry of St. Mary's Mercy Medical Center. Dr. Decker has advanced training in treatment of lower extremity wounds, and treats patients with complex wounds at both his office and St. Mary's Wound Clinic.

Dr. Richard Rozelle
Originally from Grand Rapids, Dr. Richard Rozelle developed an interest in podiatric medicine while serving in the US Navy. He returned to his home town and began his private practice in 1982. Dr. Rozelle joined with Drs. Decker and David to form Foot & Ankle Specialists of West Michigan in 1999. In addition to his office in Grand Rapids, Dr. Rozelle treats patients at a satellite office in Greenville. Dr. and Mrs. Rozelle have been seen on both local and national television relating to their personal adoption of two Russian daughters and their continued support of foreign adoption programs.

Dr. Timothy Hulst
Dr. Timothy Hulst is originally from Holland, Michigan. He gained an interest in podiatric medicine because of the variety of diseases and injuries involving the lower extremity. Before beginning his career in Grand Rapids in 1997, he completed an advanced three-year surgical residency and participated in a trauma fellowship in Germany. Dr. Hulst is interested in all aspects of podiatric medicine, especially involved and complex injuries or disease to the ankle and rear foot. Dr. Hulst has been involved in The Healing the Children program, offering reconstructive surgery to children from third world counties.

Dr. Patrick Meyer
Dr. Patrick Meyer grew up in Jenison, Michigan. He completed an advanced three-year surgical-residency along with a Diabetic Foot Fellowship at Wayne State University. Prior to joining Foot & Ankle Specialists in 2000, Dr. Meyer completed a Trauma Fellowship in Germany. He has offered surgical treatment to children in the Healing the Children program. Dr. Meyer offers not only primary podiatric health care, but also treatment of complex injuries and disease of the rear foot and ankle.

Dr. Jeffrey Rewitzer
Dr. Jeffery Rewitzer is originally from Fruitport Michigan. He began his private practice in 1987 and covered Grand Haven, Fruitport and the Muskegon area. He merged his private practice with Foot & Ankle Specialists of West Michigan in 2001. He continues to offer both surgical and nonsurgical podiatric health care to patients living in the Lakeshore area of West Michigan.

Dr. Corwyn Bergsma
Dr. Corwyn Bergsma grew up on the Lakeshore of West Michigan as the son of a local Physician. Dr. Bergsma knew he had an interest in medicine and as a young athlete he found himself drawn to podiatry. When Dr. Bergsma completed his surgical residency in 2004 he returned to West Michigan to join Foot & Ankle Specialists of West Michigan. He continues to have interest in sports medicine. He often treats patients with sport injuries or assist in properly preparing an athlete for competition to avoid injury. Dr. Bergsma also treats patients requiring routine podiatric health care along with complex injuries of the foot and ankle.
